Camp Laurent is an English run campsite in Charente, Poitou Charente (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) South West France. This campsite is bordered by the river Charente and nestled in 8 acres of beautiful Charente countryside, the local village of St-Laurent-de-Ceris offers a ‘boulangerie’ for fresh bread and croissants. There is also a lovely restaurant ‘Le Saint Laurent’.

Camp Laurent is a small and peaceful caravan, motorhome and camping site, with only 10 pitches and many acres to enjoy. Camp Laurent is perfectly situated to soak up the ambience of this lovely part of France while enjoying peace and tranquility at the site.  Also being the second 'sunniest' region in France, means the sunshine and the endless blue skies can be enjoyed all the more.

The campsite borders the river Charente with great views over the valley, open fields and oak woodland. A gentle stroll down a winding path will lead you to the river, at the bottom of a lovely wooded bank. Here you can sit with a glass of wine and watch the beautiful wild butterflies and Dragonflies. For nature lovers you can observe the abundance of wildlife that love to visit the ‘Fontaine de la Lapin’ (rabbit fountain). Where a natural water source flows out of the rocky bank into our newly established lagoon. Or admire the many wild birds, including the beautiful kingfisher and the soaring birds of prey riding the thermals above- the natural valley.
